Regarding current state of the project


With the heavy heart I regret to inform you...

That my current job sucks. They have been delaying payments for three month strainght.
Sorry for the bait, current situation motivated me to return to the MechApocalypse project once more. All that time I've been working in a different companies, accumulating knowelege and experience tied to Unity Development.
Right now, when I look at the code I wrote I understand, that I had to get said experience to progress.

My main stopping point was new procedural map generation system. I had to switch through several paradigms, yet code produced terrible results sometimes. Absolutely unplayable. 
At this moment, I reworked system a bit, and it started to look better. There is still a lot ow work to do regarding optimization process and integration of new map generator in the game flow. But the most important thing - the work is going.

What else important, is the people that support the project. There is not much of a comments, not much of a purchases, yet I saw statistics, once in a while there is somebody still downloading the game. Still, after almost 5 years of silence. That means, it's still relevant, at least I hope so.

Thank you guys. Really appreciate that.

As for further updates, I hope I can provide you with more info in following months, for right now I'm working on project occasionally, mostly at evenings or weekends.
