MechApoclaypse: Proving Grounds Alpha 0.1.26


Alpha version 0.1.26 now live!

New

  • Ballista arm medium part. Basicaly the 15x missile launcher for Solitaire or Polynom missiles. Quill missile version coming next update.
  • Warthog medium body, with 2 independend medium blaster hardpoints and 2 medium arm hardpoints. Armor plates are detachable if damaged.
  • Electro bolas light and medium weapon. Electro bolas is a blaster-type weapon that fires projectiles that deals EMP damage and eventually disables enemy.
  • Ammo indicator now displays laser weapons as well.
  • Enhanced laser visual and sound effects.
  • Some arms with elbow joints are now extends while weapons firing.
  • Status effects mechanics. At this point only EMP released. Effects now will accumulate and result in disabling of player mech or the enemy.
  • While setting an ammo in Assemble Hangar missile now shows if they are homing or not.


Updated

  • EMP sphere explosion visual effects.
  • AI radar optimized, which will result in better productivity.
  • Enviromental textures.
  • Ammo indicators now can display clip-to-loadout ratio. Can be changed in Settings->Game.

Fixed

  • Fixed generation of procedury Planetary map.
  • Player and enemies start rotation. Mechs and drones now doesn't look at world axis.
  • Navigation baking for rock formations.
  • Ground hit effect on explosions.
  • Launch of Solitaire missile.

Known bugs

  • If you have updated from previous version, game may freeze in hangar. To avoid this, just restart the game. I did so, and therefore I couldn't track bug and fix it.
  • Mech may explode on start.
  • Issues with following trees in lab screen:
    • Hawk Body
    • Corxi
